Vitaly Pisarenko was born on July 24, 1987 in Kiev, Ukraine.
He began his piano studies at the age of five. Following his first musical training at music schools in Kiev and Kharkov and at Moscow Central Music School, he commenced his studies at Moscow State P. Tchaikovsky Conservatory under Prof. Yuri Slesarev in 2005. At the same time, he enrolled in a postgraduate course of study at Rotterdam’s Codarts Conservatory, as a student of Aquiles Delle Vigne.
Vitaly Pisarenko already had his first public appearance at the age of 6. He has given numerous recitals and appeared as soloist with orchestras in Ukraine, Russia, Japan, Italy, Macedonia, Austria and Germany.
Winner of many prizes and awards, he won 1st Prize at the 8th International Franz Liszt Piano Competition in Utrecht in 2008. By winning the prize, he has embarked on an extensive concert tour with world-wide engagements until 2011, commenced straight away the morning after the Finals with an appearance at Amsterdam’s Concertgebouw with the Netherlands Radio Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Damian Iorio. Following several concerts at other leading Dutch concert venues, his itinerary includes appearances in Belgium, Germany, France, Italy, Hungary, Poland, Austria, Switzerland, England, Lithuania, Ecuador, Indonesia, China, Mexico and the United States.
Vitaly Pisarenko performed at many renowned international festivals including Basilica Festival of Flanders, the Piano Pic Festival in France, the Berlin International Music Festival & Academy, the Delft Chamber Music Festival, the Grachtenfestival in Amsterdam, the Busoni Festival in Bolzano, the Beethoven Festival in Warsaw (with the Polish National Philharmonic Orchestra) among other events.
